Music - Performing Examples
Biography I began playing music at the age of 11 and began my professional performance career when I was 14. I attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Music in Recording Technologies and Percussion emphasis. After a stint in Nashville working at the famous Woodland Studios as a recording engineer, I found myself in Kansas City in 2002 and spent the next 4 years of my life devoted to performing around the U.S. with the rock band The Sound and the Fury. Recently I spent the summer of 2007 on sabbatical studying Marimba on the tropical island of Roatan, Honduras. The experience enriched my understanding of the instrument and gave me the opportunity to improve my reggae chops on the drum set. I'm always seeking new and interesting playing situations and am open to most styles of music. I can help to accompany you on drum set, marimba or a variety of percussion instruments. Listen to some of my playing examples below.
